This week we will be discussing what a healthy diet looks like for throwers at the high school, collegiate, and professional level. From meal prep to training supplements, everything that enters your body will have an effect on your training and performance.
A common misconception of throwers is that we eat whatever we want and simply 'work it off'. Most of us know this isn't the case however. PRs and big wins start at the table. Elite-level athletes like Crouser and Carter are not eating fast food and desserts everyday. For many of us, the barrier between where we are and where we want to be can be what we're fueling our bodies with.
